Short Description

Kirkstall is a biotechnology company established in 2006. They develop and commercialize millifluidic solutions for organ-on-a-chip technology. Kirkstall tackle the issues of robustness and repeatability of biological research by providing tools and equipment that precisely control the environment for the culture of human cells. They have applications with liver, brain, kidney, heart, lung and gut organs.

Products

Kirkstall commercialized their products under the Quasi-Vico brand. The Quasi Vivo brand consists of 3 versions of the culture systems (QV500-600 and 900). This system is compatible with classical culture insert and allows interconnection of culture systems as well as cultivates several organs in different culture conditions (air-liquid interface, liquid culture…).
