Cherry Biotech’s mission
Cherry Biotech’s mission is to develop the most advanced technological platform using in-vitro human biological models to evaluate the impact of compounds (e.g. drugs, endocrine disruptors, cosmetics) on the human body to better treat pathologies and predict adverse side effects. The platform aims to be the best alternative to ineffective animal models by combining novel microfluidic technologies, artificial intelligence, and the most advanced imaging techniques.
Our context today
We are now at the development stage of our company. CubiX, our main product, is in a pre-sales phase and we are now offering service activities. We are also involved in several international scientific collaborations which allow us to keep ahead of our competitors, to test our devices with top-notch scientific support and to further explore new potential innovations to integrate into our current and future products.

To meet all the challenges of our company, we have built a united and hardworking group. We are a multidisciplinary team of 19 people of 10 different nationalities, passionate about our mission, helping each other, and adapting to all situations.

What do we offer?
As a Full-Stack WordPress Website Developer apprentice, you will contribute to digital projects and participate in the technical development of web platforms, APIs, and servers.
Your main tasks during the apprenticeship :
In collaboration with our Lead Acquisition & Growth Manager:
- Update and optimize our WordPress-based website
- Develop new features, pages and web projects using WordPress, WP Elementor, PHP, mySQL and other relevant technologies.
- Test, integrate and deploy WordPress solutions.
- Manage anomalies, diagnose WordPress-related issues, and provide fixes.
- Update, modify databases (PHP Admin and MySQL) for WordPress-based systems with OVH hosting service.
- Establish and maintain our infrastructure (Google Cloud): cybersecurity, GDPR compliance, scaling, and optimization for WordPress applications.
- Create documentation to track and easily update the work done on WordPress projects.
- More generally, participate in projects related to the digital ecosystem.
- IT equipment management and intranet support
Main skills expected to be acquired at the end of the Cherry experience:
- Develop a good theoretical and practical knowledge about the challenges associated with the building and maintaining of a WP based website .
- Learn how to design, develop and optimize a website in UI, UX and SEO.
- Effective communication of work/results to a general or specialized audience.
- Improve organizational and technical skills .
- First experience on SEO, SEA in relation to web design.
What we are looking for
- Bac+2 in IT Services
- You have completed your first year of apprenticeship in a similar position
- You have a solid experience with WordPress development, design, user experience (UX) and database management
- You can create optimized, efficient code (HTML, CSS, JS) and script, prioritize delivering maintainable code for WordPress
- You have a track record of being a proactive problem solver, capable of finding effective solutions
- Design skill using software such as Indesign, Photoshop is a plus
- You’re open to feedback and suggestions, always striving to improve and learn from your experiences.
- English fluent speaker and good writing skills mandatory
- Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork
- You are familiar with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
