Methods and Production Engineer

We are now at the latest development phase of our new product Cubix and we are in the process of structuring the production of the Cubix to ensure full commercialization worldwide.

We have reached the pre-sales phase and are now offering service activities. We are also involved in several international scientific collaborations which allow us to keep ahead of our competitors, to test our devices with top-notch scientific support and to further explore new potential innovations to integrate into our current and future products.

Organs on Chip, or micro physiological systems (MPS), have the potentiality to increase the speed of discovery of new treatments and replace animal models. At Cherry we developed a new device, CubiX, that has the power of controlling the physical parameters of the cellular environment.

Missions & competencies :

• Contribute to the definition of the production strategies for our 2 products (CherryTemp & Cubix), which are at different maturity levels
• Ensure production of our 2 products in compliance with standards and regulations such as ISO 9001
• Define and implement the production processes in linked with the strategy defined
• Contribute to establish the provisional production planning and optimize the production time in a continuous improvement approach
• Put in place follow-up tools and dashboards for analysis
• Document processes and generate guidelines
• Communicate results by reports and oral presentations
• Structure and built a dedicated team
• Manage stocks using ERP/MRP software and put in place protocols for employees using stocks
• Lead the after-sales activities for the 2 products by interacting with customers and deciding the right steps and solutions to ensure their satisfaction
• Participate in brainstorming and troubleshooting in linked with the Industrialization and R&D teams
• Identify and report customer needs to R&D, Industrialization and Sales teams, and more generally work in closed relations with the Admin & Sales teams to coordinate actions

• Experience of 5/10 years as Methods and/or Production Engineer (mechanic and electronic)
• Design software CAD expertise (CAO like SolidWorks)
• Previous experience in CE-marking and ISO 9001 (ideally 13485)
• You have already managed a budget
• You are rigorous, organized, methodical with an analytical vision
• You are a team player, committed, autonomous and with a hands-on attitude
• You know how to adapt, deal with the unexpected and find solutions to any problems you encounter
• You wish to evolve in a fast-growing environment and are interested in management
• You have already managed a team and are recognized as a leader
• English fluent speaker and good writing skills are mandatory
