Cherry Biotech’s mission
Cherry Biotech’s mission is to develop the most advanced technological platform using in-vitro human biological models to evaluate the impact of compounds (e.g. drugs, endocrine disruptors, cosmetics) on the human body to better treat pathologies and predict adverse side effects. The platform aims to be the best alternative to ineffective animal models by combining novel microfluidic technologies, artificial intelligence, and the most advanced imaging techniques.
Our context today
We are now at the latest development phase of our new product Cubix and we are in the process of structuring the marketing team to showcase to biologists what are all the possibilities offered by our state-of-the art product.
We have reached the pre-sales phase and are now offering service activities. We are also involved in several international scientific collaborations which allow us to keep ahead of our competitors, to test our devices with top-notch scientific support and to further explore new potential innovations to integrate into our current and future products.
Our team
To meet all the challenges of our company, we have built a united and hardworking group. We are a multidisciplinary team of 19 people of 9 different nationalities, passionate about our mission, helping each other, and adapting to all situations.

What do we offer?
To support the CMO and the marketing team, we are looking for a Scientific Content Writer (organoids/organ-on-chip) who will share our progress and animate a community, by distilling novel and cutting-edge scientific information.
Missions
- Identify, research and write complex scientific content for a variety of media (website, sales materials, video, articles), using a clear, compelling and storytelling vocabulary that arouses the interest and commitment of our prospects
- Interact internally with team members (biologists, R&D, Sales, Marketing) and externally with biologists and the microfluidic scientific community to promote and generate interest for our instrument
- Research and select relevant preclinical, bibliographic and documentary data.
- Draw up a plan for the scientific valorization of preclinical studies in scientific journals and congresses (coordination of abstract submissions, writing of articles, posters).
- Provides medical writing expertise for multiple compounds and projects, in a wide range of therapeutic area (oncology, adipose tissues, liver, etc.), by collaborating with experts in each field
- Edit customer-facing marketing materials to ensure grammatical and technical accuracy and consistency with corporate brand standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards
- Keep abreast of current industry trends, guidelines and best practices in preclinical writing
- Provide education through training materials, blogpost etc. and animate our biologist community to share Cherry Biotech knowledge and create the best user experience
- Being active to provide advises, training and content to the user community
What are we looking for:
- PhD in science discipline (biology, biomedical, pharma etc.) with a significant first medical writing experience (academic possible)
- Expertise in organoids, organ-on-chip, 3D cell culture, with a wide scientific curiosity to deal with all microfluidic applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to work with different teams and profiles
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to summarize high-level scientific writing (publications, review)
- You are rigorous, organized, methodical and details-oriented with an analytical vision
- You are a team player, committed, proactive and autonomous
- You know how to adapt, deal with the unexpected and find solutions to any problems you encounter
- English fluent speaker, French is a plus
- Perfect command of the Microsoft Office suite
- Familiar with relevant software tools for creating, editing and formatting documents
- Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, accessible language for a variety of audiences
