Fission yeast cells: temperature shifts from 5°C to 30°C
In 2016, we co-published the following video with Zeiss. It shows how the Definite Focus 2 module is able to compensate an impressive 50µm loss-of focus induced by temperature dilatation.
Fission yeast cells were subjected to temperature shifts from 5°C to 30°C.
Loss of focus occurs as a consequence of dilatation due to temperature changes.
This video shows how the Zeiss Definite Focus 2 module is able to compensate a 50µm loss-of focus. Samples were imaged on a Zeiss LSM 800 microscope.
Video co-published between Cherry Biotech and Zeiss France during the Yeast Symposium in Toulouse 2016.
